About the project
For the production hall in Ploiești, KRONTAB delivered the low-voltage distribution solution required to supply the facility’s loads and auxiliary installations.
The project included a 630 A Main Electrical Switchboard (TEG), equipped with metering, control and energy monitoring systems, together with two dedicated switchboards for technical installations: a Fire Pump Station Switchboard (TSPI) and a Boiler Room Switchboard.
The entire solution was implemented using Legrand equipment, with the switchboards configured for safe power distribution, monitoring of electrical parameters and efficient operation of the hall’s installations.

Implemented solution
The Main Electrical Switchboard is the primary power distribution point for the loads and installations serving the production hall.
The TEG is rated at 630 A and integrates the equipment required for distribution, protection and control, with the circuits organized to ensure safe operation and easy access for inspection and maintenance.
Legrand equipment provides circuit protection and reliable low-voltage distribution.
A metering and control system was integrated into the TEG to monitor electrical parameters and supervise the operation of the installation.
The solution enables measurement and monitoring of the main network parameters, as well as electrical energy metering, providing the information required for consumption analysis and efficient distribution management.
Integrating metering, control and energy monitoring functions into the main distribution system improves visibility over the operation of the installation and enables rapid identification of consumption variations or abnormal conditions.
A dedicated electrical switchboard was installed for the fire protection system, configured to supply, protect and control the pump station equipment.
The TSPI integrates the power, protection, control and signaling circuits required for the operation of the system and is designed in accordance with the specific requirements of the application.
Given the critical nature of the loads it serves, the solution is focused on operational safety and the availability of power supply to the fire pump system.
A dedicated electrical switchboard was installed to supply the systems associated with the boiler room, tailored to the loads and technical equipment in this area.
