About the project
For the Avicarvil Frâncești production facility, part of the Carmistin Group, KRONTAB delivered the electrical switchboard system designed to distribute power to the main areas and production lines of the facility.
The project involved the manufacture of approximately 35 electrical switchboards, ranging from main low-voltage switchboards rated up to 4000 A to sub-distribution switchboards supplying power to the facility’s various loads.
The project’s complexity was driven by the high power levels involved, as well as the integration of the main switchboards with enclosed busbar systems and reactive power compensation.

Implemented solution
Three main switchboards rated at 4,000 A, supplied from the medium-voltage transformers through 4,000 A enclosed busbar systems. Each of the three 4,000 A TEG switchboards includes an 800 kVAr reactive power compensation bank.
Power enters the switchboards through bottom-mounted flanges.
The fourth main switchboard, rated at 2,500 A, completes the main distribution infrastructure. It includes a 500 kVAr reactive power compensation bank.
Distribution to the main load areas and sub-distribution switchboards is carried out through outgoing feeders located at the top of the main switchboards and connected to the enclosed busbar systems.
