About the project
KRONTAB designed, manufactured and supplied electrical isolation switchboards for a solar farm located in Mureș County. The solution was developed in accordance with the specific configuration and technical requirements of a solar farm, with the aim of ensuring the protection, monitoring and controlled isolation of the solar installations from the electricity grid.
The islanding panels continuously monitor the system’s operating conditions and enable the photovoltaic array to be automatically and safely disconnected from the grid in the event of inappropriate electrical parameters or faults. The solution thus helps to protect the equipment, the grid and the operating staff.
For the photovoltaic park in Mureș County, the project requirements called for the construction of isolation switchboards with a special stainless steel design, intended for outdoor installation. The structural design was adapted to the environmental conditions and the need for a high level of protection for the electrical equipment, ensuring resistance to the elements and operational reliability.
